Overland Park, Kansas, USA

The Angel Capital Association (ACA), the world’s leading professional association for angel investors and startup entrepreneurs, announced its first Syndication Partnership with Siemens Digital Industries Software. Through this collaboration, ACA’s network of angel investors and its angel portfolio startups will be provided with access to the Siemens Xcelerator for Startups program — equipping qualified startups with software tools and resources so they can move from ideation to realization.

“The ACA is pleased to announce this collaboration with Siemens. It is a natural fit – we will provide Siemens with deeper insights into the early-stage community while through ACA it enables entrepreneurs and investors through access to industry leading technology for product development and manufacturing,” said Pat Gouhin, CEO of the ACA.

“The ACA represents a vital resource of early-stage funding to startups across many industries and geographies and through our collaboration, Siemens is better positioned to help those startups. Our goal is to help launch early-stage companies using industrial grade software tools so they can scale as their companies grow – from ideation all the way to manufacturing. In addition, this collaboration enables companies to develop their products for structural integrity, functionality, regulatory compliance and sustainability, reducing the risk of missing their milestones for timing and technology viability,” said Paul Musto, director of SMB, academic & industry partner sales, Siemens Digital Industries Software.

When discussing the value proposition for ACA members, ACA board member and syndication lead Sandy Wollman said, “We are thrilled to have Siemens as our first ACA Syndication Partner. Through the collaboration, the ACA portfolio of investors and their startups have access to the benefits of the Siemens Xcelerator of industry software, helping them bring their innovations to market. We look forward to building and expanding our collaboration with Siemens so we can help startups succeed.”
