Neural Concept, has today announced a collaboration with Siemens Digital Industries Software to integrate Simcenter™ STAR-CCM+™ simulations within Neural Concept’s Engineering Intelligence platform.

Neural Concept is a 3D Deep Learning platform which accelerates the adoption of AI for engineering design and redefines design timelines and product performances. Over 60 OEMs including Airbus, General Electrics, Subaru, Mubea, and four of ten Formula 1 teams use Neural Concept to place AI at the center of the simulation and design process to bring innovative products to market faster. The company recently closed a $27 million Series B funding round as it continues to expand its pioneering technology across Europe, APAC and the United States.

Neural Concept has now interfaced Siemens’ Simcenter STAR-CCM+ and NX™ software for product engineering within its platform. Simcenter STAR-CCM+ is a Multiphysics computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation software that enables CFD engineers to model complexity and explore the possibilities of products operating under real-world conditions. Neural Concept customers can now access Siemens Simcenter STAR-CCM+ from within its platform to offer an optimized user experience and a scalable compute environment that multiplies the impact of CAE data-scientists.

Using Simcenter STAR-CCM+ connected with Neural Concept, users can execute CFD simulations at increased scale on dedicated high-performance computing (HPC) resources in the Cloud. This represents a significant advancement for machine learning (ML)-enhanced pipelines, extending and accelerating processing, generative, and predictive ML tasks.

Simona Ottaiano, Senior Product Manager AI/ML, Simulation and Test Solutions, Siemens Digital Industries Software said, “Siemens Digital Industries Software is excited to collaborating to enhance the end-user experience, and we are looking forward to work with Neural Concept to provide solutions that can help to improve and accelerate the productivity of our mutual customers.”

Pierre Baqué, CEO, Neural Concept said, “OEMs today are under pressure to deliver innovative and sustainable products at unprecedented speed. To meet these challenges, engineers need a streamlined and efficient process for their design workflows, and the ability to model highly complex Multiphysics real-world conditions using computational fluid dynamics. We are delighted to collaborate with Siemens Digital Industries Software and interface their industry leading CFD software Simcenter STAR-CCM+ and NX into Neural Concept, empowering engineering teams to create impact through engineering data-science – for end-to-end Engineering Intelligence application development, fully connected to the internal simulation and design ecosystem, deployable at scale.”
